Allow the user to set the default sort and filter options with which a window opens - that is, the sort and filter settings to apply as soon as the window is opened.

The installer must prefer magic_quotes_gpc to be off, but continue even if it is on.
Currently, it expects it to be on.

While setting up the database during installation, "first batch" and "second batch" is initially displayed and when the operation completes, it changes to "group 1" and "group 2". This should remain the same before and after the operation.

When clicking, if the user does a slight drag of the mouse unintentionally, the drag drop filter shows up and disappears quickly. We should add a small timeout before displaying the mouse follower image and the drag drop tooltip so that it is not distracting in this situation.

Preferences are sometimes saved and at other times, they are not saved.
